AC Wise Daintree Giveaway: Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Aircon Quotes Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 691 646 849) as trustee for the ACQUA Trust, trading as AC Wise, ABN 47 718 879 496, of 26–42 Queen Street, Thebarton SA 5031 (Promoter).

2. Promotion period

Entries open at 12:00 am on 13 October 2026 and close at 11:59 pm on 14 March 2027 (Promotion Period). All times are Adelaide local time, including applicable daylight saving.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older at entry, excluding residents of the Australian Capital Territory.

Directors and employees of the Promoter, persons involved in administering the promotion or determining the winner, management of businesses benefiting from the promotion, and their immediate families are ineligible. Immediate family means spouse or partner, parent, child or sibling.

The winner’s travel companion must also be aged 18 years or older.

4. How to enter

During the Promotion Period, an eligible entrant must:

1. Submit a genuine air-conditioning quote request through AC Wise.
2. Engage a participating AC Wise network business introduced through that request to carry out an installation, service or repair.
3. Have the job completed and pay its invoice in full.
4. Submit the giveaway entry form linked from the AC Wise website, providing their name, contact details, residential state or territory, installer’s business name, invoice number and a legible paid invoice or receipt.

If the receipt does not identify the job or installer, the corresponding invoice must also be supplied. Entries and supporting documents must be received before closing.

Requesting a quote, commenting QUOTE, receiving a message or accepting a quote alone is not an entry. Entry carries no additional fee. Services must be supplied at their normal price without a promotion surcharge.

5. Multiple entries

Multiple entries are permitted. Each entry must relate to a separate genuine AC Wise quote request and a separate eligible job completed and paid in full during the Promotion Period.

One entry is awarded per qualifying job, regardless of value. Multiple invoices, instalments, receipts or submissions for the same job do not create additional entries. Artificially splitting one job or duplicating quote requests for the same job does not create additional entries.

6. Verification

The Promoter may verify referrals, completed work and payment with the relevant installer and request reasonable evidence of eligibility.

Entrants may redact bank account numbers, card details and unrelated information. Information needed to identify the customer, installer, job, invoice and payment must remain visible.

False, fraudulent, duplicate or ineligible entries may be excluded. A transaction cancelled or fully refunded before the draw will not qualify. Each valid entry has an equal chance of winning.

7. Prize inclusions

There is one prize for one winner and their nominated adult companion.

The prize includes return economy flights for two, two nights at Silky Oaks Lodge with breakfast and dinner, return airport transfers, and an experience with Rainforest Rescue.

Flights are to and from Cairns Airport, departing from Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney. Direct flights are not guaranteed. Both travellers must travel together on the same itinerary.

Checked baggage is included for each traveller. The allowance will be confirmed with the booked airline and fare.

Accommodation is for two adults sharing one Rainforest Retreat or equivalent standard-category room at Silky Oaks Lodge. Twin bedding will be requested, subject to availability.

Return airport transfers are between Cairns Airport and Silky Oaks Lodge for both travellers.

The Rainforest Rescue experience will be coordinated by the Promoter with Rainforest Rescue. Timing and arrangements will be communicated before travel.

8. Prize valuation

The estimated total retail value of the prize is AUD $4,700, including GST where applicable. This estimate comprises $3,200 for accommodation, $1,000 for return flights for two and $500 for return airport transfers. The Rainforest Rescue experience is complimentary, with no separately advertised retail price.

The estimated value is based on prices available when these terms were prepared. Actual prices may vary depending on the agreed travel dates and availability. The stated component values are estimates and do not limit the Promoter’s obligation to provide the advertised prize inclusions. Any difference in actual value does not entitle the winner to a cash payment.

9. Travel and booking

Travel must commence and be completed between 1 May and 30 June 2027. Dates will be agreed between the Promoter and winner, subject to flight, accommodation and experience availability. The Promoter will coordinate bookings and provide available options within that window.

The winner and companion must promptly provide correct passenger names, identification and information reasonably needed for bookings.

The Promoter and winner will agree on available travel dates within the stated window before bookings are confirmed. The Promoter will coordinate supplier availability and booking arrangements to provide the advertised inclusions.

The Promoter is responsible for providing the advertised inclusions. The winner will not be required to pay an undisclosed shortfall for them. Costs of changes requested by the winner after confirmation must be disclosed and agreed before changes are made.

Supplier booking conditions and conditions of carriage apply without limiting rights under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Personal expenses

Spending money, travel insurance, transport between home and the departure airport, lunches, optional activities and personal purchases are not included unless expressly included in the booked package. Travel insurance is recommended but is not a condition of entry or acceptance.

11. Draw

The draw will take place at 12:00 noon on 21 March 2027 at 26–42 Queen Street, Thebarton SA 5031. One winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries, with every valid entry having an equal chance of selection.

The winner does not need to attend. The Promoter will retain an audit record of the draw.

12. Notification and publication

The winner will be notified by email and telephone on 21 March 2027 and provided with written confirmation.

Their first name, surname and state or territory will be published on the AC Wise giveaway webpage by 23 March 2027 for at least 28 days. Any newspaper publication required by applicable law will also be arranged.

The prize entitlement and booking arrangements will be provided within the legally required time, with travel in the specified window.

13. Claim deadline and unclaimed prize

The winner will be requested to accept by 11:59 pm Adelaide time on 4 April 2027. The Promoter will make and document repeated reasonable attempts to contact them by email and telephone. Failure to respond by that deadline does not automatically forfeit the prize.

If those attempts are unsuccessful, a redraw is proposed for 12:00 noon Adelaide time on 5 April 2027 at 26–42 Queen Street, Thebarton SA 5031. It will occur only where permitted by applicable law and after any required regulatory approval or directions have been obtained.

If a redraw is not permitted then, the Promoter will retain the prize and comply with applicable holding periods, surrender requirements and regulatory directions. Any authorised revised redraw date will be published on the giveaway webpage.

A replacement winner will be notified by email and telephone, given a reasonable legally compliant claim period, and their details published as required under clause 12.

14. Prize conditions

The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable to another winner except where required or permitted by law.

If an inclusion becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, any substitution must comply with applicable law and required regulatory approval. Where required, the winner’s written agreement will be obtained and the substitute will be of equal or greater value.

The Promoter cannot reduce the advertised prize because fulfilment costs exceed its internal budget.

15. Privacy

Personal information and supporting documents will be used to administer the promotion, verify entries, contact winners, arrange the prize, publish required winner details and comply with legal obligations.

Relevant information may be shared with participating installers for verification and suppliers to fulfil the prize. Optional marketing consent will be requested separately and is not required for entry.

Promotion records will be retained for at least three years after finalisation and protected against unauthorised access. Personal information will otherwise be handled under the AC Wise Privacy Policy available on its website.

16. Social media and providers

The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Facebook. To the extent permitted by law, entrants release Instagram and Facebook from claims arising from administration of the promotion.

Use of an airline or accommodation provider to fulfil the prize does not imply that provider sponsors the promotion.

17. General

The Promoter may take reasonable steps to prevent fraud or interference. Amendments, suspension or cancellation will occur only in accordance with applicable law, including prior written regulatory approval where required.

Nothing excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Australian Consumer Law.
