Licensing
The refrigerant handling licence from the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARCtick) is the one national licence requirement for refrigeration and air conditioning work. The electrical side of an installation is licensed by each state or territory. In Western Australia, Building and Energy is the government agency that oversees the electrical, gas, painting, plumbing and building services industries.
Electricity and running costs
Energy Made Easy lists New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT, so it does not cover Western Australia. For running costs, use the usage rate printed on your own bill.
