Built for Clarity
Without the Blindfold
Choosing an installer shouldn't mean taking someone's credentials entirely on trust. AC Wise conducts a verification process before an installation business can receive homeowner enquiries through our platform.
How we vet our network
Depending on the jurisdiction, business structure and scope of work, AC Wise checks information including:
- business identity and registration
- relevant trade licensing
- relevant contractor licensing
- applicable refrigerant handling credentials
- public liability insurance
- workers compensation insurance where applicable
- licence and insurance expiry information
What partners agree to
Partners are also required to agree to comply with applicable workplace health and safety obligations, Australian Consumer Law and requirements relevant to the work they undertake.
What that means for you
Our verification process provides an additional layer of transparency before your enquiry reaches a professional. It also helps AC Wise match enquiries according to location and scope of work rather than operating as an unrestricted public directory.
What vetting doesn't mean
AC Wise is not a regulator, licensing authority or certifier of individual installation work. Our verification process cannot guarantee a business's future conduct, workmanship or the outcome of an individual project. The installation professional remains responsible for maintaining the credentials required for their work and for meeting their legal, technical and consumer obligations.
